How do I change my account email? I've done it manually multiple times and I continue to get emails at the previous address.

I've changed my email address through the xfinity app and via the a web browser multiple times. I've even gone through all of the chatbot prompts to be connected to a customer service representative who also claimed to change my account information, and yet I continue to get personalized, account specific emails at the previous email address.

Occasionally when attempting to change other account preferences on the website, I'll be redirected to an account login prompt, my old account information is be auto populated, and the login will be pushed through with the outdated credentials. I've cleared the cache all previously saved login and password information from the web browser so there's absolutely no reason that my outdated login credentials should populate on the log in screen, and from a security standpoint there's absolutely no reason that they should still work and allow the login to go through.

This problem has been going on for months. Can anything be done to actually ensure that the correct email address is used moving forward?

To change your Xfinity contact email, sign in to the Xfinity app or website, navigate to "Account and Identity" under settings, select "Xfinity ID and Security," and update your personal email. A verification code will be sent to the new address to confirm the change. Note that while you can update contact/login emails, existing @comcast.net addresses cannot be changed or edited. @user_zf1g2o is it the Comcast email that is populating?

I’ve already done this many, many times and even see the correct email listed on my account but the issues I pointed out in my post still persist.

This is not a simple issue and something deeper in the technology, outside of my control, is causing the problem.

And to clarify, this is not a @comcast.net email. This is my personal email tied to my account.

I’ve never used or activated a @comcast.net email.

Thank you very much for the clarification. I will be happy to look further into that from here for you. Can you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
