How can I set up a second email address for myself.

I need a second email account for myself. When I try to set one up, it requires a phone number, which is already in my profile so it won't setup a new email address for me.

The website says an account can have up to 7 email accounts. How would I set up an email account for a child if they don't have a phone?

Hello @user_7c0248, thank you for being a part of the Comcast family and for taking the time to reach out to us. Here is a helpful support article https://comca.st/3pX666Y with the steps to create an Xfinity ID for a family member. Let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome to our community forum, @user_357b4f! I definitely want to make sure you're able to create a new Email address for your wife to use :). You'll need to create an online profile for her and that will come with an Email address. You can find the instructions here

... When I try to set one up, it requires a phone number ...

Please see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/adding-new-user-names-or-email-addresses. You may find setting up a "Viewer" account more straightforward and less confusing than the other two kinds.

I need a second/separate email account for my spouse. Our health care provider will not allow us to have the same email account for correspondance (privacy issues?).

I prefer to have the second account with Xfinity versus setting up the separate account on AOL, hotmail, gmail.....etc.

Is it possible?

Hi, @dsaller. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us in regard to creating a second email account. As of right now, you are able to create up to seven email addresses associated with your account. To add an email address, sign in at https://comca.st/3r6shZf under your Primary Account. Select the 'My Account' link on the https://comca.st/3r6shZf home page. In the Email Settings table, select Create Additional Email Accounts.

Please give that a try and let us know if you run into any issues.

There is no ‘Email Setting table’ or ‘Create Additional Email accounts’ anywhere on the website.  I’ve looked everywhere.  Those click options don’t exist.

It doesn't. I've searched too. It used to be in the user tabs

The best way to create another email address is by following the directions BruceW posted.  Creating a username automatically creates an email address with the same name.  Once you create the username you just need to click on the email Icon on the Xfinity.com home page and that will walk you through enabling your email associated with that username.
