Greetings, @sdhand48! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about using voice dictation in your emails. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

I do this all the time with my email. I have a Windows PC, so whenever I want to dictate into a field where you can type, I just hit the "Windows Logo" key and the "H" key at the same time (Win+h), and a little microphone will pop up on the screen with a message that says "Listening." I can speak out everything I want typed, then click on the little microphone or the "X" to close the microphone popup when I'm done. You can probably do the same thing on a Mac, but I am not familiar with the shortcut to enable it. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

I am not aware that you can do that with Xfinity Connect email.  You could probably dictate into something like Word and then do a copy/paste into email.

On a Mac you just double-tap the "Fn" key and it opens a microphone for you.  It works in any field you can type in as far as I know, including the compose page of an email.
