Help with hacked email?

My email was hacked. I have changed password. Checked rules. Done all I know to do. However not getting emails on that account still. I’m 74 and not real tech savvy but fair. I clearly see nothing wrong. My listed email had been changed to Gmail, but I fixed that. What else to do? Please help!
