Help with email

When I send an email it shows up as being sent from my daughter. ( HER NAME. my email address. ) How do I change it back to my name.?

Please don't post the same help request multiple times.

In a web browser on a desktop or laptop, open an Xfinity Connect "Compose" window ( https://connect.xfinity.com/ ). Then:

  1. Click the "From" address to open the drop-down
  2. Click "Edit names"
  3. In the "Edit real names" box, tick the checkbox
  4. Type the name you want to appear in "From"
  5. Click Save

If you don't have access to a desktop or laptop, you might be able to follow the steps above by using a web browser's "Desktop site" function on a mobile device.

When I send emails it puts my daughters name in place of mine.  How do I change this?

In addition to what @BruceW  posted, make sure that you are signed in to your email account and not hers.
