Haven't received email since a week ago - help!

I have not been able to receive new email. I can still send, but nothing comes in. I've re-typed my IMAP password in Apple Mail, but no effect. I've logged on to Xfinity.com via web browser, checked my email that way - no new email for a week. Help?

Hello @user_z836ix, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. I completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you're waiting on an important email. From the Xfinity site, do you have any filter rules set up? You can check by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of the email inbox and then clicking Settings. In the Mail Settings, click Filter Rules and see if there is a filter present. Have you checked the spam folder and deleted folder for the emails?

There are no rules set up to filter emails. I checked the junk folder, and there are emails in there from yesterday and this morning, but they're all junk - great, the only emails I'm receiving are the ones I don't need! My son sent me a couple of test emails last night, and there's no sight of them.

Thank you for the response @user_z836ix. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

Can you send yourself an email?

Good idea!

So I sent one to myself. It sent - I heard the "noise." It's also in the Sent folder.

But nothing shows up in the inbox, nor the spam or junk folders either.

If "auto forwarding" has been turned on by my account being hacked, wouldn't it still show up in my original email account? I have no idea if my account has been hacked, but that's all I can think of.
