Have not recieved follow up email to move email account to Yahoo Mail

I received an email on August 21 saying to expect to receive a follow up email in 30 days to move my email account to Yahoo Mail. It has now been more than 45 days since then and I have not received the follow up email I was told to expect. I was wondering if I somehow failed to receive the follow up email or if there has just been a delay and the.follow up email has not been sent yet.

I received my initial email on July 29. About 60 days later, when logging into my email through webmail, I received the screen prompt pictured below. There was no follow-up email.

I get the same prompt as pictured frequently. I use "Get started" without being able to complete the transfer. What is the deal Xfinity? Your employee below says to wait for that banner. It does not work.

Sorry to hear about the issues you're running into while attempting to complete that email transfer sewcrow. Can you tell me what happens after you click Get Started?

Are you seeing this in webmail or in a third party email app?

@sewcrow This time it took me to yahoo to log-in with my xfinity user name!  Progress!  Not so fast.  Nothing happened when I entered my password.  It would blink like it was going to go but just come back to the page unchanged. Repeatedly.

I received an email on August 21 saying to expect to receive a follow up email in 30 days ...

Exactly the same here. I got a "Important update: Changes are coming" email on 8/21, saying "In about 30 days, you’ll receive another email", but . . . nothing since. Sadly, it is a mistake to rely on any statement Comcast/Xfinity makes.

user_2gsjl1 Thank you for stopping by with your questions about our email conversion. @rightfooted is on the right track. Since the conversion is being done in batches, once you receive the email alert, the next change will be the better email banner when you log in.

I understand that I am supposed to see this banner sometime in the future when I log into email, I have seen nothing yet. According to the initial email I received there will be a grace period of 120 days to accept Yahoo's terms of service to allow the transfer of my comcast.net email address to Yahoo email while retaining the comcast.net email address. The 120-day time period starts once this banner shows up. Is that correct?

How long will this roll-out take? Will it stretch into 2026? My comcast.net email address is attached (as username) to several very important web sites.

I'll back up the others-----------I got the first email about the transition back in August (26th?)  Since then I've heard nothing.  I just tried signing out and back in again, but I'm not getting the banner posted by @rightfooted .  Its still the old format.  So-----just about two months now?

Have you migrated yet?

I signed into one of my two accounts using webmail and finally got the screen posted upthread by @rightfooted , and did the migration for that one.  It was relatively painless.  Thunderbird, however, is not happy with it and I can't get it set up in that so far.  The other account is the one I use for the forums and I'm holding off on that for now.  It would be nice if an OE could pop in here and give us some idea about the 120 day thing.  Like when does it start?  Oddly, my old (25 years old) Yahoo account is still set up and functioning in Thunderbird.

Go figure🤨

What is your Authentication setting?  I have OAuth2 and it seems to work, albeit slowly.
