Feedback on new Yahoo email

The new Yahoo email is horrible, it has ads all through the inbox that can't be deleted.  I'm not happy with this change at all.

I understand ads are not always wanted @user_u09fxv There may be a way to remove those ads and the link: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/remove-temporarily-hide-ads-yahoo-mail-sln15803.html from Yahoo does show how you can remove them. I hope it helps!

@BruceW I already pay for my email through Comcast, they made a deal with Yahoo and moved email to them, I shouldn't have to pay extra to remove ads when this is already part of my internet service.

The Yahoo interface is absolutely terrible, and I can't interface Outlook to it.

I agree. It's part of our service with Xfinity and they shove us onto another platform that is [Edited: "Language"]. Like others, I don't want to pay to remove ads when I already pay for Xfinity. If there were another decent option for high-speed internet in my area, I'd jump on it. But there isn't. Yet.

Guess I'll move everything to gmail instead.

I am EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed. Ads in my email browser? Seriously?

Think how much money Xfinity received from Yahoo to move tens of thousands of user accounts their way. And this is in addition to the millions spent annually on email server hardware, staffing, and security.

There's a reason Yahoo mail is free: $$$. Xfinity just gave them a true Christmas gift.

As soon as I can find a decent broadband service locally, I'm out. Tired of the [Edited: Language].

Hello @user_g164c2, I completely understand how frustrating ads can be, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience they’ve caused. Since Yahoo now provides the email service, the ads are outside our direct control. However, we truly appreciate your feedback, and we apologize again for the frustration.

If you're only worried about the ads on the Yahoo mail you can install a browser extension to block them if you're on chrome: Adblocker for Yahoo Mail.

Yahoo mail [Edited: "Language"]. I know there's "nothing you can do about it" now, but you should know that you have made most of your customers VERY angry by this switch. I liked what I had with Comcast email. I hate what you made me switch to. Shame on you! I was really stupid for not setting up everything with a gmail account from the beginning. It would be a nightmare to try switching now, but I may have to bite that bullet because Yahoo mail is TERRIBLE!!!!!
