Feedback on a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

After almost a year, Comcast finally came out and rehung their main line! Last spring a storm took down six poles in our area, and we were without power for seven days. When the new poles were put up, Comcast never reattached their line. As a result, our family and about ten neighbors couldn’t mow our yards all last year — the grass grew up to three feet tall.

Eventually someone cut the line out of frustration, hoping it would force them to respond. At one point, half the neighborhood was without internet for 14 days, and still no one came to fix it. I even had to break down on the phone crying with customer service, explaining that my kids couldn’t do their homework or access anything online. Everyone was afraid to touch the line again, worried that they wouldn’t respond for weeks again even though we live in a city of 50,000 people and many businesses.

But today — finally — they came and hung it back up. It should never have taken this long. I’m beyond frustrated, but very relieved it’s finally done.

I made calls last year to have it fixed and they all went unanswered. This was completely unacceptable. Especially going with out power for a week then internet for 2 and did not even receive a prorated bill for the lack of service for weeks! They completely dropped the ball here even when we kept complaining about not being able to MOW OUR LAWNS. Really atrocious customer service.
