Hello user_71o188, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum. We appreciate you and your time. I have gotten the steps for you to recover your password:
To recover your Comcast email password, you need to verify a personal (non-Comcast) email address or a mobile number. Here are the steps: Go to xfinity.com/password. Choose to add a personal email or mobile number. Enter the email or mobile number to receive a verification code. Enter the code within 15 minutes to verify. Follow the prompts to reset your password.
Ensure you have a valid personal email (not a Comcast email) for this process.
If you are using Comcast's servers (connect.xfinity.com, mail.comcast.net, imap.comcast.net, and smtp.comcast.net), the email ("IMAP") password is the same as the password you use to log in to a Comcast/Xfinity web page or app. There is no separate "IMAP password".
If you change the password you'll also have to update it on any devices, apps, and programs (email, Xfinity app. etc.) that use it.
