Empty Folders - Emails gone!

All emails saved in Folders are now missing.  Every folder is empty.   Do we know what happened or how to retrieve them?  Important information is missing!!

Hi there @user_240b9e! I am sorry to hear that you are missing some of your emails. We know how important it is to have access to these saved, important emails! Are you using our Online Email Portal, our Connect Mobile App or a third-party server to view your emails?

@ComcastMary  I use the xfinity app on my computer and on my cell phone.   Both show folders are empty.

Thanks for letting me know. Can you try going to https://comca.st/2TTRzMK and see if it shows the emails on the online portal? As well, is this a personal folder you created or one of the pre-created folders i.e. Inbox, Drafts, Sent?

@user_240b9e and @ComcastMary, did this issue ever get resolved? The same thing happened to me at some point between July 20 when I was able to access my Inbox subfolders that I created and July 21 when they were inaccessible (even though I can still see them listed) and all emails in those subfolders have disappeared. I access and store my email at www.comcast.net, and they do not get downloaded to a third-party email server.

My entire email is empty, all folders, all emails, GONE, support told me this is happening to 90% of there users and they're are working on resolving it but I don't believe them, if this was the case it would be all over the news. How does this get fixed?

This just happened to me two days ago, too!!! My Primary email account disappeared, and scam emails were sent requesting gift cards to all of my contacts.  

I went to local Xfinity customer service, got a new master account PW, but still am not receiving any emails into that account, all are being transferred elsewhere.  

Help!  I need all my emails in this account back AND I need to get my incoming emails.

@4ceces_mom   Auto forwarding and a specific rule have been added to your email settings. 

Below are the directions on how to update these and remove the forwarding and rules. Basically, you need to update your email settings by logging into webmail and removing the forwarding and any rules.

All please reference this article to recover deleted emails. 

- First check the trash to see if messages can be restored from there. 

- Second here is the option to restore recently deleted emails https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/recover-deleted-email
