Emails via mail clients from overseas

Need help resolving this issue as we can only see email by directly logging in at Xfinity.com

can an employee help us please?

Using Apple mail on iPhone.


Now it is working again.  But allow me to give the details so it might help others.  

We first arrived here and connected to the existing WiFi at our temp lodging.  Using Apple mail we were able to send/receive emails as if we were home.  After about a week it all stopped with an error stating it cannot connect to the servers.  However if we switched to other local hotspots we were able to do emails still with Apple mail.  Somehow the problem was with this WiFi router at the lodging.

A friend suggested this may have something to do with router renewing IP and that was getting blocked by Comcast.

Anyway we simply reverted using our local phone hotspot and got our Comcast emails.

Then about 3 or 4 days later it all started working again on that same WiFi at the lodging.  Don’t know what happened but we are good now.
