Emails to multiple recipients not going through

My email to people in my contacts list are not going through when I have less than 50 recipients in the email.  Can someone at comcast fix this?  I've seen other posts with this problem and apparently they sometimes get blocked by comcast.

Good afternoon, @userRR. Thanks for reaching out for assistance with your emails getting blocked. We would be happy to help! Are you seeing a certain error message when the emails are not going through?

No, I am getting mixed responses from people.  Some say they received, some say they didn't.  The ones that did not, checked their spam.  On a recount, I'm wondering if the "50" number is a real thing.  Is it?  It's possible there were more than 50 in my list and some did not receive it.

It looks like that number has been increased to 100 recipients based on the information we found here (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/limitations-on-sending-email). There are some extensions that are still blocked so you will want to visit that link to see if that could also be playing a role in what you're experiencing. Have you been able to send email to all your recipients before you noticed this recently?

I am having the same problem, with only twenty emails in my list on the BCC. Most are not getting through with the comcast.net extension as my sending email. This is really frustrating!!!

Hello @user_eddc22, thanks for reaching out to us for help with your email.

Comcast works hard to make sure your email experience is as easy and safe as possible. By placing limitations on the amount and size of email an account can send, we can help prevent spam accounts from filling your inbox. Have you already verified that the following are not causing the issue?

Comcast has put the following sending limits in place for our residential Xfinity Internet customers:

  • An email message can be sent to a maximum of 100 recipients. Any messages sent to over 100 recipients will not be delivered.
  • Xfinity customers can email up to 1,000 recipients per day. If an account exceeds the 1,000-recipient limit, the account will not be able to send for the remainder of the day.
  • The maximum size of an email cannot exceed 25 MB; this includes attachments, headers, text, formatting, etc.

Please let us know if this helps or if you are still having trouble sending emails.
