Emails that I receive have the wrong time on it.But on my phone, and on my computer, the time is right.What is the problem

Wrong time on my emails that I receive yet my computer.And my phone both have the right time.

The good news is this is usually an easy fix and not an issue with your devices. For many Xfinity/Comcast email users, this happens because the email account itself is set to the wrong time zone, even though everything else is correct.

 

Here’s how to fix it:

1. Go to connect.xfinity.com and sign in to your email.

2. Click the Settings (gear icon)

3. Go to Preferences or General

4. Check the Time Zone setting

5. Select your correct time zone, save the change

6. Sign out and sign back in.

 

That step alone resolves the issue for most people.

If the issue continues:

* Make sure your phone or email app is set to automatic date and time.

* You can also try signing out of the email app, restarting your device,

* Removing and re‑adding the email account.

 

If everything looks correct and the problem still shows up on all devices, we can help by refreshing the email account settings on their end.

 

You’re not doing anything wrong this is a common setting mismatch and it’s fixable.
