E-mails in Sent Folder

I noticed recently that my sent folder only shows sent e-mails back to Jan 29th, it is Feb. 10th.  I have checked the e-mail settings in the Comcast Web App as well as on my laptop using MS Outlook.  I have checked my iPad for settings as well.  Looking for help understanding what's going on.

Hey @user_yiy994, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the Xfinity Email service. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.

Are you missing emails within your sent folder online through the Xfinity Email web portal and on your third-party email client? Would you be able to quickly make a new email and send it to yourself to see if you can successfully see the email within the sent folder and the inbox as well? Please try this through the Xfinity Email web portal and your third-party email client to see if one or either works for troubleshooting.

Ok, I logged into Firefox, my preferred browser, logged into e-mail and tried to send an e-mail to my self.  I received different errors via firefox.

I then used Microsoft outlook, my preferred app for e-mail.  I composed and sent the e-mail.  It showed up in the Sent folder in MS Outlook and Firefox immediately, but it did not show up in my inbox in MS Outlook or in Firefox for approximately 5 minutes.

I logged into Microsoft edge, the e-mail I sent from MS Outlook showed up in the Inbox and Sent Folder.  I sent a new e-mail from MS Edge browser.  It showed up in the Inbox and Sent folder in all three apps, MS Outlook, Firefox WebApp and Edge WebApp immediately.

My real issue is not that sent e-mails are not showing up in the Sent folder, it's that the sent folder only has e-mails back to Jan. 29, 2025.  I'm trying to find out what happened to sent e-mails, sent before Jan. 29th.  I cannot find anything in the Xfinity web app settings regarding archiving, and I checked MS Outlook for my archiving settings, and I don't have auto archiving turned on.

Thank you very much for the detailed information @user_yiy994. There is a something taking place where emails may be delayed and take time for delivery. Are the Sent Emails folder missing emails on all the platforms that you described? Have you attempted to access your emails recently on a another device that may have pulled them from the server on or around that date?

yup, I check my sent folder on my Ipad, on the Web app in two browsers, on my wife's Iphone and iPad and on her computer via the Webapp.  All devices only show e-mail back to Jan. 29th, 2025

Thanks for confirming! We would be happy to take a look at this issue on our end.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

No problem, but I don't see how to post this publicly.
