Emails have disappeared from "Sent" folder

Emails that were in my "Sent" folder before today seem to have disappeared.  Is it possible to find out what happened to them and to recover them?

Good morning,

Reviewing our logs it shows that iPad Mail iOS 15.7 accessed the emails via IMAP and deleted 135 of them. You would want to see if you can retrieve them on the device. Alternatively, you can try selecting the additional options in the webmail and attempt "recover deleted items" to see if our server still has copies of the missing emails.

@XfinityCSAEmail​, thank you! I was able to recover them from the mail-server. Can you tell me the date/time that iPad Mail accessed the server and deleted the Sent Items?  I'd like to figure out how it happened. Thanks again.

Apologies for the delay as its quite a dig to get this information, here is what the logs show:

iPad Mail iOS 15.7 (general mailbox)
10/06/22 07:58 UTC - 540 emails deleted
10/4/22 14:34 UTC - 105 emails deleted
10/01/22 19:15 UTC - 42 emails deleted
9/30 22:34 UTC - 48 emails deleted
9/29/22 00:49 UTC - 150 emails deleted
9/27/22 17:50 UTC - 72 emails deleted
9/26/22 14:57 UTC - 153 emails deleted

*sent folder specifically:
9/27/22 06:23 UTC - 1653 emails deleted


those are all the larger deletions made by iPad Mail that I am able to see in the logs. Hope this information helps you out.

Hello Xfinity CSAEMail - I realized yesterday thousands of emails after 9/30/2022 are missing from my sent folder, I'm noticing this user above his dates of deleted are oddly close to mine.   I did not delete thousands of emails.   I do not use a mail client.  I log into my Xfinity account via Comcast.net or Xfinity.com.  I have been on the phone with Xfinity support for hours, talked to 12+ people, opened multiple tickets, and getting no where, they keep trying to restore my deleted folder.   Xfinity must have DR/Back-up systems, I need my back-up email file,  I also need to know what happened.  Can you help, please!!

My sent email prior to 1/9/2023 have disappeared?  How can I recover those sent emails?

Hello @user_29b488 while you are in the inbox, are you able to see the "Sent" folder it should appear to the left of the in box folder's pane, are you able to retrieve them there?
