Emails go directly to trash

All email that should go into my Inbox is going directly to trash.  They are unread.  I see others had this same problem months ago.  Was it resolved at that time?

Good evening suzafone thank you so much for taking the time to reach us here on our Xfinity Forums! Have we had a chance to check our email filter settings to ensure no rules are enabled that would be forwarding or deleting these prematurely?
