Emails from favorites tagged as junk
I am having a problem with many of my emails landing in the junk folder or being tagged as junk. This happens with emails that are from addresses that are tagged as VIP, addresses that I have sent emails to and that are sending responses, and addresses that are in my contacts. Even once I have clicked the "not junk" button, subsequent emails still come in tagged as junk. Not only do I need to continually indicate that emails from those addresses are not junk, I also have to be vigilant to check my junk folder regularly so that I don't miss important emails. Do you have a solution for this?

Hi, @bards4! Thanks for contacting XFINITY over our forums page and for patiently waiting for a resposne. I am sorry to learn about this experience with those emails landing in the junk folder. As someone with a small business, I know how important it is to recieve all of those emails. We will do everything within our power to get this fixed. You've reached the best place in virtual land for assistance. To get started, I would like to ask you some troubleshooting questions. Can you tell me if you are using a 3rd party email client or are you using the XFINITY website to recieve those emails?

Well, the issue is not resolved. I can access my email just fine from Apple Mail and online through the xfininty website, but I'm still having problems with the emails from my favorites and from addresses I have in my contacts marked as Junk. Am I to understand that it is an Apple Mail issue and not an xfinity issue?

I am having the exact same problem and I am using Outlook. So it is incorrect to say it is an Apple problem. The spam filtering is taking place at comcast.
