Emails disappear

Hello, for the last several days my emails have been disappearing. They go to the Deleted trash folder. I re install them and several hours later they disappear again

user_0s6q6c Thanks for reaching out! Is this happening with your Comcast.net email? Also, does it happen when you use the Xfinity email portal, or a 3rd party email program?

You will want to ensure that the default settings of the email program, website or mobile device that your using to get your email doesn't delete email messages from the server automatically. By default, many email clients automatically delete messages from the server once they've been read. However, most mail clients have an option to leave a copy of each message on the server. Some email  applications, devices and services that might delete mail from the server include:
Outlook, Windows Mail, Apple email, Thunderbird and many more. Mobile devices, tablets and other devices with built-in email programs. Web-based email clients like Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and AOL Mail.

In your third-party email client, it's recommended that the email account be set up as IMAP to keep emails in sync across devices. If you're using POP settings, emails might not be saved on the server after being read.

Also, ensure that email forwarding isn't turned on in Settings or Preferences.
