Good evening aquarian60453. When you are deleting the emails is this on a mobile device, or a computer? Are you on the Xfinity website, or using a 3rd-party application like a mobile phone mail app, or Outlook?
It sounds like you're using Apple mail. Are you able to test your service and confirm if the issue is happening using Webmail as well? https://www.xfinity.com/email
