Emails are gone

All my emails in my inbox are gone.  Looking at my Sent directory all emails from 2020 are missing as well. Call 1800xfinity and talk to an agent and supervisor and they were unable to help and said to try the forum to answer my question but now of the requests match mine.  What to do?

As a precaution, I would change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and also change your secret question and answer. Suddenly vanishing emails is a common sign of a malware infection or a compromised account. Run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software to see if it finds anything wrong.

Also, do you have another device like a smartphone or tablet with the account enabled on it? If so it may be downloading and then deleting the messages from the server. Check all the settings in it to see if that's what's going on.  If it's not that, then call Comcast security and see if they can recover the messages for you-----------------------

@2dmsutter I've checked the logs and it appears an email client "iPhone Mail" connected to your email and started deleting emails by the hundreds. If you do use iPhone Mail, please double check your email client settings and best you can do to try and recover the emails is "recover deleted emails" either on the iPhone Mail email client and/or on the xfinity.com website.
