I’ve been trying to set up my Xfinity/Comcast email in Microsoft Outlook. I’ve followed all the correct settings (IMAP with SSL, SMTP with STARTTLS, correct ports, full email address as username).
My password works perfectly on connect.xfinity.com and Two-Step Verification is turned off.
However, Outlook continues to reject the password. I believe my account is being blocked from third-party access or requires an app password — but I don’t see any way to generate one.
I’ve tried calling and chatting with support, but I can’t get past the automated system.
Please help me enable third-party access (IMAP/SMTP) or provide access to app password setup for Outlook.
Thanks.

How old is your email account? When was the last time you signed in to webmail?

Hi there, @user_fhyfw0 I hope your weekend has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your email, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Can you tell me a little more about what's happening? Are you able to access your email online through the Xfinity Connect Email portal (https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net), but not through Outlook? Are you getting a password error or a server-related error?-Richard
