rs-wilson Comcast/Xfinity is phasing out its email service in 2025. Many users have reported losing access to their @comcast.net email accounts on both mobile and desktop.

 

1. Try Webmail Access

Even if apps aren’t working, try logging into your email through a browser. If that fails, it’s a strong sign the service is down or discontinued.

2. Check for Service Notices

If you can still access your Xfinity account (not email), look for any messages about email service changes or shutdowns.

3. Back Up Emails (If Possible)

If you regain access, forward or export important emails to another address (like Gmail or Outlook).

4. Set Up a New Email

You’ll likely need to:

• Create a new email account.
• Notify contacts and update your email on important services.
• Transfer any saved emails or contacts.
