Solution to "Access Denied" when logging onto xfinity email with a Brave Browser

I was having a problem accessing xfinity email and got an "Access Denied" when I tried to log on to email using a Brave browser. (NOTE: this applied only to my Brave browser and only for the xfinity email site.)  I spent a lot of time with the xfinity specialist doing everything he requested, sometime multiple times.  Nothing worked. After extensively experimenting with the Brave browser settings, I found that the solution was to turn off the “Block fingerprinting” settings on the Shields menu.
