email won't load

I cannot access my main email account either through Outlook or directly through the Xfinity website. On the website it says "Welcome to Xfinity Email we are now loading your email". Then after several seconds it says "Connection timed out. Please try reloading the page." Reloading the page gets the same error message and no email.

I'm having the exact same problem.  Very annoying, especially after being a customer for many years, and paying high monthly bills.  I have heard that Comcast/Xfinity is going to stop taking new customers for their email service (which may already be happening), and they are going to phase out current customers.  Some employees at a local Xfinity store confirmed that information.  Maybe all the problems that I and others are having with our Xfinity email sign-ins is part of the process of getting rid of current customers.

Same thing this morning, though no problems yesterday.  Tried on different devices, restarted modem....which shouldn't have been a problem since we could get to every other website we tried.  Was told by CSR it is a "vacant issue" and they are working on it.  Still trying to understand what a "vacant issue" is.  Actually more than a little annoyed as we need to verify an appointment, and that is typically done through email.  And just got message that CSR hadn't heard from me in a bit, when I had sent a text asking for clarification of the term "vacant issue"....and all they said was that I would receive a text when the issue was resolved....ok..."vacant issue" apparently means a technical issue.  Guess I just wait and see what happens

user_p1eaq6 Our Engineers are still working on resolving the issue with email. You may want to try using a third-party mail client like Outlook in the meantime. We hope to have it resolved soon.
