email will not load via mobile apps/outlook when on wifi - server error

I cannot get my comcast.net emails to load on my tablet/phone/outlook while connected to my home wifi.  This has been happening for the last 3 days.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled apps, confirmed IMAP settings are correct, and restarted my router.  I am outside of Xfinity internet service area and connected via fiber internet.  I have not changed any of my wifi settings.  When I switch my mobile devices back to cellular coverage, my service is restored (emails load properly).  I can connect to my email via the Xfinity website on wifi without issue.  What are my options?  Connecting via web browser to get my email is not sufficient, nor is switching to cellular every time I want to check email.

I do not get a specific error message that I can see. Outlook progress show synchronizing is processing but never completes. Tablet/phone apps just keep processing but do not sync.

Hmmmm  I haven't used Outlook in 20 years, so I don't know what to tell you at this point.  Sorry.  🙁

I was able SEND email from Outlook (delayed by about 30 minutes?) but cannot receive emails.

I am having the same issue. Xfinity customer service just told me to wait it will fix itself in a few days or maybe a week. There was nothing they could do.

I am having the same email problem on my Outlook app on my PC; when I open Outlook, I get a window saying "Enter your user name and password for the following server." The server is imap.comcast.net and the fields for my user name and password are already filled in.  I click OK repeatedly but the window immediately returns with identical information and Outlook cannot retrieve anything from the Comcast server.  Also, on my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone, the Comcast email will not synchronize if I'm on my home WIFI but all is well if I turn off WIFI and use my Verizon data.  This has been intermittent over the past week or so.  All is well for a day or two, then these problems reappear.
