Email "Web portal"

What is the proper method for logging in to my Comcast.net email address?

What is this "Web Portal" that some users refer to?

The instructions found after logging into my Xfinity account lead nowhere.
They tell you WHAT to do, but not WHERE and HOW to do it.
For example, if one tries to log on via Yahoo email, one gets a
"Email address not recognized" type of message, although
Yahoo continues to recognize Verizon.net users.
The same thing occurs if one tries to log on via the Gmail platform.
There are grumblings about Comcast users being upgraded to
a Yahoo email account, but on a select basis, and I am not selected.
WHY CAN ONE NOT SIMPLY LOG ONTO COMCAST EMAIL
VIA THE XFINITY WEBSITE OR THROUGH THE APP?

@user_164id6 You should be able to access your comcast.net email address through both the Xfinity website and the Xfinity app. If you aren't seeing the email, you can click here for directions on how to access your email.

You can log in to your email on the website at https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite

As far as the Yahoo! Mail migration, currently that is an option and not mandatory; we don't know why the change but at some point it could become mandatory again.  The migration is being done in stages, so you may not have yet gotten the invitation to do so.  If you are a new customer - after June 2025 - you won't have to worry about the migration because Comcast stopped providing email service to new customers then.

I hope that answers some of your questions.
