Email was hacked, changed password but now no new e-mails are received by Comcast

Hi,

My wife's comcast email account was hacked a few days ago. We changed her password but now she is not getting any new e-mails that are being sent to her. We've tested this by sending e-mails from a gmail account to her comcast account. We've logged into the Xfinity web portal and have been checking the incoming emails. Nothing has been received. The sent emails are not being bounced back, either.

We can send emails out, but nothing is coming in. Any recommendations on this would be welcome.

Check the filter rules and make sure the emails aren't being forwarded to another address. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience. Scroll down the page about halfway.

Go to account settings and check mail forwarding then check msg rules. Then go to account page and see if there is a preferred email other than yours. The hacker then hacked into my contacts and sent msgs to all. If people responded to the hackers email their response would go directly to them even they were using my email address. I did not receive any emails during this 2 day hacking episode

Hi, @user_967b00. Did you end up getting assistance for this issue? If not, I do recommend our CSA team/Customer Security Assurance, 1-888-565-4329, and their website is https://comca.st/3yLZM5o. They are experts in handling situations if your comcast email was hacked.

Have you spoken to them @th0093 or have you resolved this issue?
