Email transition to YAHOO

So in order to NOT give yahoo a copy of any of the emails in a account, I deleted all the messages, purged the deleted items, signed out and back in to confirm

that the emails and deleted items were clean. Signed back in, converted to Yahoo, and in yahoo all the emails are back. How many days do I need to

wait after purging before converting the rest of my accounts ?
