Email spam

Everyday I get bombarded with spam for outlook email addresses.  All of the are about finding errors on my website or to sell me seo services.  I need this to stop.  Would love some suggestions.  Thanks!

Here are some strategies to help reduce spam in your Outlook inbox:

1. Mark Emails as Spam

When you receive a spam email, mark it as spam rather than just deleting it. This helps train your email provider's spam filter to recognize and block similar messages in the future.

2. Block Senders

You can block specific email addresses that frequently send spam. In Outlook, open the email, click on the three dots next to the sender's details, and select "Block."

3. Create Inbox Rules

Set up rules in Outlook to automatically move emails containing certain keywords (like "SEO services") to your junk folder. This can help filter out unwanted messages before they reach your inbox.

4. Unsubscribe from Mailing Lists

If the spam emails are coming from legitimate businesses, use the unsubscribe link typically found at the bottom of the email. This can reduce the number of promotional emails you receive.

5. Use Third-Party Spam Filters

Consider using third-party spam filters like SpamTitan or MailWasher. These tools can provide an additional layer of protection against spam.

6. Keep Your Email Address Private

Avoid sharing your email address publicly or on websites that might sell your information. Use a secondary email address for subscriptions and online forms.

7. Report Phishing Attempts

If you suspect an email is a phishing attempt, report it to your email provider. This helps improve their spam detection algorithms.
