email sometimes, just deosnt work

My Comcast email sometimes just doesn't receive mail. I've had to go through Gmail or other mail sites for schooling and otherwise, since sometimes this is locked up tighter than Fort Knox for things that actually matter, while allowing an unending spew of spam to go through perfectly fine, but there's no other way to get in contact with literally anyone without dedicating massive amounts of time for basic issues even, and your on site ai is practically wothless, currently trying to get password resets from other sites, and theyre sending to my comcast, say they sent, and yet my inbox remains empty, despite recieving things from them in the past perfectly fine

Good evening user_hft7j1 👋 I know how crucial it is to have access to your primary email at all times, so I appreciate you dropping by for help to help restore your access! Can you let me know how you usually go about checking your comcast.net email?

either on outlook on my computer, which is a mess to sign into sometimes, or on my phone, i have acess to the account and the email, but many many time ive just had things.. not show up in my inbox, when i went to school for fire academy at the begining of last year, to recievce any of the files and documents they sent i had to have sent over to my gmail since they never recieved, and starting my job this year a similar issue, until there was text back and fourth and the system recognised that it was important i guess, but most of that had to be done using my personal number to communcate with HR since comcast refused to recieve half of what was sent

If you check your email using our own email server connect.xfinity.com, are all your emails there and functional?

I've checked using that one, and similarly, no, I'm waiting on a password reset email from Steam, for example. I've received things from Steam on there in the past, and for something like that, at most, it will take 10-20 minutes to receive. It's been 2 hours, and I have yet to get the email, so by the time it arrives, the code will already have expired. Within the same timeframe, I have received multiple spam emails as well. I know Steam is not blocked or otherwise, since I receive offers and such from them regularly, but an important email is just not being received

So even when logging into your inbox directly via Xfinity and not Outlook you're still seeing a delay in email retrieval?

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section.
