Email server problem

I cannot connect with Comcast server. I am using Apple email from iPhone and iPad.

Same here with all of our @comcast.net email accounts on both iOS and Outlook clients. All were working fine yesterday (1/8/2025) , now non-functional since early this morning. Xfinity web mail working fine so not an account credentials issue.  

What is the issue Xfinity/Comcast? Are you experiencing an imap server failure? Did you change your email server port numbers or security protocols again?

Please respond as your ineffective "xFinity Assistant" chat bot along with silence otherwise is very frustrating.

Same here. Just started today. Two iPhones without email access and two laptops with it. Same IP address presented to the world. 

Server code "ALERT", server message "Temporarily blacklisted IP address - try again later"

I did get email away from home, but on return it's down again. And the home email from Windows and Linux laptops work fine.

Our issue was also "Temporarily blacklisted IP address - try again later". Appears to have been resolved overnight. My guess is someone on their security team decided to kill a fly with a nuke by blocking wide swaths of IP domains and subnets.
