Email search tool not working properly

The email search tool is not working properly. When I type a key word in to search the text of one of my folders I get "no matches found". I know for a fact that that is not correct. It was working ok the other day, but today it is not. The search tool does not work as well as it did in the older email version, but now it is EXTREMELY bad. Xfinity, please fix this problem. I really need the search tool to work. Thank you!

Mine seems to work OK.  Are you sure you spelled the word right?  Because in my experience it won't find something unless it's just right.  I don't think it uses a soundex or anything like that.

Yes, I am absolutely sure that I spelled everything correctly. It is just not one search, it is several. It does not look through the entire folder. It did in the past, but it currently does not. I have used the search tool for years, several times a day, and it has not been this bad before. I tried a search that I did the other day that had worked and now it can not find it. There is something wrong that it could complete the search a few days ago, but now it can not.

I am having the same problem.  I search for text or emails from a sender.  I am looking at an email I received today that should be a hit, but I get "no matches found".  This looks like a bug.  Have you identified this issue and is there a fix for it? Thanks.

I have not heard from anyone that has helped me with this issue. Not even anyone from Xfinity. I must say that I am really disappointed in that.

I really do not use the search device on my mobile devices, usually only on my iMac. connect.xfinity.com

Hi I did not try to search on the mobile app. I had the problem on the web mail on a mac. Thanks.
