After soft ware update on iPhone says needs imap password

I am having the same issue.  I have tried deleting and re-entering the account.  I don't have VPN.  I have checked the security box to allow third party providers...I have tried everything.  I can't believe Comcast does not have a solution for this.  VERY FRUSTRATING.
