Email quota - does Xfinity offer larger email storage?

I don't want to delete old messages - is there a paid option for larger email quota?

Thanks

Sorry, no. They do not offer a way to expand the mailbox limit. If you reach 10 GB, new mail won't be accepted until you delete enough messages to bring the total below that limit.

@mruck

A possibility would be for you to enable the account in a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, and then create local folders so you can move/copy emails to the computer via the client.  You could then start deleting them from the server to free up some space in the account.

@Latoque I would be interested in learning how to do this since I have received the dreaded quota email.  I would like to have my outlook folders stored on my hard drive.

Thanks for your help.

I am getting repeated quota warnings since yesterday. During a recent attempt to fix an issue, 2 "restore" files were created by Comcast to help me.  I deleted the largest one when I started to get the warnings, however I continue to get the warnings even though I have deleted a large restore file as well as some other emails.  It is so hard to tell when we are being scammed these days, but it just seems strange that I am getting these warning even though I believe the deletions should have counted in that "exceeds limits".  Are these warnings real?  If so what can I do besides deletions to stop them. The warnings are way too frequent and obviously not helpful when deletions do not work.

@eolcott How are you accessing your email?

In webmail you can check your quota limit by clicking on the gear icon.

While you may have deleted some files[?] have you emptied the trash in webmail?

[Out of curiosity, what are these "restore" files that Comcast had you create?  Was this something for your email client - if not using webmail?]

I am not a Comcast Employee.
