Email problems

I have tried for the last week to retrieve my email messages and all I keep getting is something about that my email has been transferred to Yahoo and to visit their site and set up an account. I finally gave in yesterday and did set up and account with Yahoo and that was to no avail. I need help to get my email account working as I would prefer staying with comcast. HELP

Hello, @user_woi8v7 thank you for taking time to reach out over Xfinity Forums. I completely understand where you're coming from with wanting to keep access to your email with Xfinity. We're in the process of migrating all Xfinity email to Yahoo Mail, which sounds like you received the notification for the migration of your email account(s). I did find this helpful document on our website that has more information regarding the switch over: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview

 

I'm not sure if you've had a chance to review that, but is has some great information about updating your 3rd party client settings if you were using that to access the Xfinity email. Once the Yahoo Mail terms and conditions have been updated on your end, you'd want to contact Yahoo Mail support if you're continuing to have issues access the email content after the migration.
