Email Preferences/Spam Settings

I've noticed the past few months I haven't been receiving emails from stores I am subscribed to; I receieve some stores' emails but not the ones I typically opened in 2019 to print coupons. I'm a teacher and one of my parents recently told me they hadn't been receiving emails from the school and after investigating they mentioned something with changes to spam filters as we entered 2020. I'm just now putting two and two together and wonder if this is why I'm not receiving many of my emails. I just changed my spam settings so we'll see in the comming days if those emails from companies I usually buy from start rolling in my inbox again. It's just frustrating because these emails often provide coupons that I haven't been able to use for the past three months and I never thought to check my spam folder as these emails always went through in the past. I thought stores were just being stingy with coupons. I also noticed my spam folder is completely empty, so it's not like I can retrieve these emails, including one that was likely sent on March 1st that may have had a birthday coupon for me to use this month. What's going on with the spam settings and what's the time limit for emails to linger in your spam folder?

Check your Spam settings in webmail. Make sure that "Enable spam filtering" and "Save a copy of emails marked as spam" are both selected (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience).

If the settings are correct and @ComcastCSAEmail or another employee doesn't reply to your message here, Comcast Security Assurance should be able to help. You can reach them at 1-888-565-4329 (from https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful, so you may need to be persistent and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.

7 days. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-email-deletion-settings.

@redsoxgrl91 can you please PM me with an example of an email address you would have expected to receive but didnt. So for example the birthday coupon. I can trace it in our server and see what may have happened to the email as long as it was sent to our server.
