Email password reset problem

Hello,

I am recently trying to sign in to one of mine 5 comcast emails and it shows me this message: 

"In a recent security review, we detected a potential issue with your Xfinity profile. As a precaution, you'll need to reset your password."

After I press "RESET" it shows me this: 

Need help resetting your password?  You can reset your password by connecting to your home WiFi network and visiting xfinity.com/password. If you still need help, give us a call at 1-800-XFINITY.

Ones I go to xfinity.com/password and type my ID it goes back to this: 

You can reset your password by connecting to your home WiFi network and visiting xfinity.com/password. If you still need help, give us a call at 1-800-XFINITY.

And it's happening over and over again. Tried to call Xfinity , but there is no person to talk to only computers. Need help. I don't have access to my email for almost 1 week already

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. When you are trying to reset the password are you connected to your in home Wi-Fi at the time?

@XfinityBillie​  Yes I was connected to home wifi. Anyway, I was able finally talk to live person over the phone and they helped me to reset my password.

I am also having this problem. I keep getting emails and text messages from Xfinity, at least once per week and as often as daily, indicating that due to security issues (my guess is that multiple incorrect password login attempts automatically locks my account) my account has been locked and requires me to reset the password.

I have two-factor authentication via my cell phone number. Requiring me to reset my password frequently is a waste of my time since two factor protects me.

I heard that COMCAST was hacked and nefarious parties are trying brute force entry to gain access to user accounts. If so, when is COMCAST going to block the I.P addresses of the hackers? When can I expect these required password resets to cease?
