email on server, but won't go through to Outlook

I am still receiving emails at my @comcast.net address, but when I try to download the messages with Outlook, I get repeated requests to login to my email account - and no synching of mail messages.

No changes have been made to my password or settings. Same problem on another computer in our home with it's @comcast.net address messages.

Help!

Thanks for sharing that link, @Again!

Hey, @user_b006b8! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums. Please have a look at what Again has posted and let us know if this helps resolve your issue. Also, we have recently noticed if passwords have a "/" in them, this seems to not be transferred over to the server correctly and you may need to update the password without that special character.

@itsmary Thanks for letting us know you're having an issue with your outlook and Xfinity email setup. Have you tried logging into your Xfinity email to see if everything is ok from that end?

I would try resetting up your email clients. I have a few clinks that will walk you through it, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/configure-outlook-express-xfinity-internet?view=app.  and https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email.
