Email not working

I can not access my Comcast email address. I use Thunderbird to access all my email accounts. I get a error message Login to server imap.comcast.net with username [Edited: Personal Information] failed. When I try to access on the Xfinity website I get a validation of server imap.comcast.net failed due to invalid credentials. I've had this email for 20 years and I've been using Thunderbird for 10 years.

Hello user_e4dcba

Appreciate you taking the time to reach out! It seems like Thunderbird might need updating.

  1. Go over to the Help menu and select About Thunderbird.
  2. The About Thunderbird window will open and Thunderbird will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically.
  3. When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart Thunderbird to Update

Thank you for your reply. Thunderbird is updated to the current software. I can't access my email with outlook either,  so I don't think Thunderbird is the problem. Still not working.
