email not working and messages vanished

all of my "sent" messages vanished sometime over the weekend, and I have not gotten email for a couple days now. I've been using comcast email for 25 years.

Sent test message to myself and that did not come through either.

user_dq5fj9 Thank you for reaching out for help with your sent messages not showing up for you in your inbox. Are you accessing your email directly from the Xfinity email portal, or are you using a 3rd party email app?

I am not getting any email, including from important business sources. I login directly through xfinity on a pc as I have done for 25 years.

Click on the gear icon and then on Email settings.  In the left pane check to see if Auto Forward is on and an email address is there.

thanks for your input I checked there and autofwd was not enabled, but there was an email address put in. I took it out. Then I went to "advanced" and there was something from "POP" that was stated as to be normally set default as "accept" but was set to delete.

@user_dq5fj9, thank you for the details. Have you had a chance to try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache? Have you also tried accessing your email from a different browser to see if that helps?

@XfinityMarshante  I have been using the library public computers for many years. They clear cache after each person is done. I received one email today from a hotmail account but that is an exception. Yesterday I was sent confirmations for online purchase, from a financial institution, and from the electric co for a paid bill. Before May 21, I would have gotten all these, along with mail from veterans groups and other nonprofits seeking donations.
