Email migration to Yahoo
Dear Tom Karinshak, I have been a customer of Comcast/Xfinity for more than 24 years and I have never been more disgusted than today. We migrated one of our email addresses to the Yahoo platform that you promoted and it is filled with ads - every 15-20th email is actually a paid Yahoo ad and ads line the right side of the page. We have never had ads in our comcast.net account. To add insult, Yahoo recommended that we pay an additional $5/email to remove the ads. To make matters even more frustrating, I was on customer service live chat for more than an hour and bounced around to more than 6 different agents. Each agent copied and pasted a canned message telling me how much they appreciated my years of loyalty and how they understand how frustrating this must be and reassured me that they were the right person to take care of the concern. Not one took care of the concern. One offered to change my plan and save me $40/month. When I could no longer deal with live chat bouncing me from agent to agent, I got a number to call. I spoke with an email tech support person who told me I would need to call yahoo because the email has been migrated. Yahoo just told me I could sign up to pay them to remove the ads. Not sure what my next steps will be but I am certain that this experience has left me livid.

They say we will get a better experience, but Yahoo is awful. We pay Comcast, not Yahoo, but when I had a problem, I was told to contact Yahoo. We were unceremoniously dumped, but we are still paying. If we are no longer being serviced by Comcast, we should no longer be paying for the service.
