email migration to yahoo

Have you sent me the email offering the yahoo terms to accept? I m afraid I may have overlooked it.  Can you check and send it to me again?  I want to make this migration so I don't lose all my email.  Thanks.

bunpun thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forum to reach out today. It is very possible the email has not yet as there are a very large number of customers who need to be alerted/contacted. I can check your customer timeline to be certain on our end though. After all, I know how important email can be and the last thing we want is for you to lose out on your own. Please send over a direct message with your full name and complete service address.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.

I have the same issue.  I want to migrate my comcast email to yahoo but i did not get an email offering the terms to accept.  I no longer have an xfinity service, but kept my comcast email as was allowed at the time of my service termination.  Maybe that is why i did not get the email about the migration.

Hey there jimberes 👋 Keeping your preferred email is crucial for sure, so I definitely understand your concern at wanting to make sure you can keep it. Rest assured; if you haven't received your email notice about taking part in the Yahoo migration yet, that one will definitely be coming to you.

The migration to Yahoo Mail for Xfinity customers is taking place over a 150-day period, so it's most likely that your specific email address has just not been sent one yet. Before your specific email address is able to transition over, you'll receive a notification 30 days in advance, followed by a transition phase where you can still access Xfinity Mail for the first 60 days. After that, you must accept Yahoo's terms of service to retain access to your @comcast.net email account. If no action is taken by the end of the 150 days, the account will be closed. Anyone who has an active comcast.net email account will be receiving a notice in due time, whether you're an active customer or not 👍

Are you referring to now or for the migration?

I tossed my transition email, thinking it was spam. When I go to yahoo and try to login, it says "sorry, we don t recognize this email".

Thank you for letting me know, @user_sad1rd. You did the right thing to try and visit Yahoo and login with your Xfinity email box, https://login.yahoo.com/ which is where you accept the terms of service. Did you enter your full Comcast email address including the dot net portion in the User ID section?

Exact same problem.  I even called Comcast a month ago about this and they said just wait u til you get the accept yahoo service message.  Still waiting for that message and I’ve only got 2 more days to access Comcast email according to latest Comcast email received. PLEASE let me know what to do.  Yahoo doesn’t recognize my Comcast email address.
