Email in inbox moving on its own.

Read and unread mail in my inbox is moving to random folders randomly. This happened before but mysteriously fixed itself. Now it’s happened again 3 times this week. Reading the forums seems there is some sort of issue with random email movement.

please advise.

Howdy Prozac1000 👋 I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about the emails moving around on you from your inbox! I can see how this would make things confusing or even make you think messages have been deleted, so I want to help in any way I can to ensure it doesn't keep happening. When you’ve noticed this happens, has it been directly through our Xfinity Connect site after logging in?

If you haven't tried already, from your Xfinity inbox, make sure any filters have not been set up or assigned in error that would be sending the messages to the new folder you're seeing. You can check on your current email filtering by following the steps at xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience 👍

Okay, we would be happy to look into this further for you. We will need some additional information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.
