E-mail Hacked
My e-mail was hacked. The hackers sent emails to everyone in my address book asking for an Amazon account. I called the Xfinity 1-888-565-4329 number and they had my password reset. The hackers had set up forwarding rules in Xfinity email to move emails to different folders and delete all emails in my sent and trash folders. I deleted those rules. Do you think that is all I need to do or is the account and computer messed up for good? Any more advice?

Welcome to our Community Forum, @user_106bc8! We definitely want to make sure your Email is safe and secure. I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Security Assurance team because they have the tools available to take a deeper look.

The account is burned. Dump it. Make sure you unlink everything using it for a recovery address. Xfinity has had a breach for quite some time, not just due to Citrix management software issues. Look at all the 2-factor bypass posts well before then.
I wouldn't use them for anything requiring security, or anything security related including their equipment. If I had my way, I'd give em fake name and address to lose.
