email from Brother always goes to Spam. How to whitelist?

When my brother send me an email it always goes to the Spam folder.  How to white list and don't send me to the Customer Security Page as that is useless.

Hello, @wishthiswaseasyno thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I'd definitely like to look into the email concern further, to confirm do you have any spam filters set up that may route emails to that box; https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience

@wishthiswaseasyno thank you for confirming you don't have any spam filters set up. Is the email address in question set up in your email address book: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/delete-contact-universal-address-book

We also have safe connect list you can update emails to: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-connect-safe-list

I found another post that mentioned similar issues of emails going to spam folders unintentially and here were some steps outlined to fix:

  1. Review spam settings in Xfinity webmail under Settings > Email > Advanced Settings.
  2. Mark legitimate emails in the Spam folder as “Not Spam”.
  3. Add the email and your own email address to the Safe Senders list.
  4. Double-check that both email addresses are correctly saved in your address book.
  5. Change your Xfinity email password and review recent login activity.

I have the same problem and what you recommend absolutely DOES NOT work.   You cannot add one person to the safe list because that is the only emails that will come through and I am not entering over 500 contacts to the safe list.   I mark every email I get from this person as not spam and she is in my address book and yet they are continually marked as spam.

@XfinityDena

The "Safe List" in Comcast email is not the same thing as a "white list" in other email programs.  The safe list in Comcast (if enabled) only allows incoming emails from contacts that are on that list----------nothing else will get through.  It's gone now, but there was an item pinned to the top of the forum which stated that in order to ensure that email from individual senders gets to the Inbox, you just need to make sure the contact is in your address book.  That is supposed to keep them from going to Spam.
