Email from 14 October through 11 November is gone, including sent mail
(Dug back through the forums, this issue has been popping up for months now, for others.)
More info: I'm only using the web email, no other access. Results are the same across my desktop PC, cell phone and tablet, using two different browsers on each (three on the tablet).
Nothing was deleted - the only things in the Trash folder are five emails I deleted on 13 Nov. Emails from one sender that are automstically saved to a specific folder have also been affected - there's now a month-long gap.
Logging out and back in changes nothing. Cache and cookies won't make a difference, as some of the browsers I've tried have never been used to connect to the webmail server before.
I'm using 5% of my email quota, so that's not it.
From reading older posts, at least *some* folks have reported success in getting their mail recovered; it appears that the only way to do so is by opening an online support chat, though. (A lot of posts just die with no reported resolution, however, and I haven't seen an explanation/fix posted, so far.)
Posting up both to let others know what's happening, and to give Customer Service a poke and get the ball rolling on fixing this.

Update: DM'ing Xfinity Support has resulted in no response in 90 minutes. Managed to get the Xfinity Assistant chat to load on a different browser (constant failure to load on this one), was connected with a CS agent in India who did get some email recovered - deleted and spam-marked email from the start of October through the 13th, no actual emails that are missing. Claimed to have contacted the "advanced backend team" for further assistance, no ETA on that.
Will update further as I have information.

Woop woop! No notification, but my emails are back! (I guess they figured out which server was unplugged. :P )
Hope this worked for everyone else affected!
