Email forwarding to gmail
I have set up gmail so it would receive my xfinity email. However it’s not letting me reply or create a new email using my xfinity address. It just doesn’t send, what am I doing wrong?

If you are wanting to respond with your @comcast.net credentials you'll need to do that from Xfinity Connect. Gmail is gmail so you are responding from their servers; the mail was forwarded to your gmail address and that's what you're responding from.

In addition to what @Again said, you might want to consider setting up your Gmail account to be able to send from the Comcast account. In the Gmail Inbox page, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, then on "See all settings". Check out the section titled "Send mail as". See if that is what you need.

Within the Comcast account, yes. You can set up filters to route incoming messages to any folder you like. On the Inbox page click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, then on "Email settings>>>>Mail>>>>>Filter rules".
