Email filters

I've been adding to the filters for every email that is from domains that I have found to be "untrusted". The filter is set to delete the email. The number of filter entries is getting large.

Is it possible to:

  • Have a filter output to a text file (or similar) so I can see which ones have been deleted?
  • Add a list of these domains/email addresses to disregard instead of adding a new filter entry each time?

Thanks,

Eddy

This has been requested for years, but never implemented. I doubt if it ever will be, even though some sort of logging facility would be extremely helpful.

You don't have to add a whole new filter, you can just add another line to the "Conditions" section of an existing filter. Just make sure that you have selected "Apply rule if any condition is met" near the top of the filter.

I used the term "filter" when I should have said "conditions". I am already doing what you recommended.

I guess there is no method to do this without adding a new condition each time.

Thanks
