Email filter on SPAM sender not deleting emails
I have a filter that is set up to delete emails from a particular sender. That sender's email go to my SPAM folder, but Norton flags them as malicious content and deletes the body of the note.
I have a filter set up to "discard" the emails from the sender, but they are still sitting in my SPAM folder. Why is my filter not working? I don't want to leave the email in my SPAM folder as I don't want to inadvertently click on one. I have verified that the email address is correct by copying and pasting from my filter into a notepad and then copying and pasting the email address from one of the spam emails onto the next line down and they match perfectly.
Also for the sender's email address, does it need to be a full email address or can it be a domain?
I do have "Automatically move spam and potentially harmful messages to the Spam folder." enabled as I am tuning my inbox because it is putting things in SPAM that I sign up for but need to whitelist.

Rule is as follows:
Conditions: From Sender "contact@xxxxxxxxxxxx.com" (no quotes in the rule)
Actions: Reject with reason "Mailbox Full" & Discard

Hi there @wgreenbe If you don't mind me asking, are you using a third-party email client to retrieve your email, or are you using the web portal at: https://www.xfinity.com/email
